Hi, I’m Lisa.
For years I did what serious entrepreneurs do. I invested in the right people, the right rooms, the right strategy. More than $100,000 in masterminds, mentorship, and expertise from people who genuinely knew how to build businesses.
One of those people had built a multi seven-figure business. I worked with him for years. I implemented what he said. I showed up, did the work, made the adjustments he recommended.
And then one day he said something I've never forgotten.
“You've done everything I told you to do. I don't know why it isn't working for you.”
That sentence stopped me. Not because it was discouraging, though it was, but because it finally confirmed what I had quietly suspected: the problem wasn't the strategy. The strategy was sound. The mentor was exceptional. And it still didn't explain why things weren't clicking the way they should.
So I stopped looking at the strategy and started looking at something neither of us had ever thought to examine: how I myself was actually designed to work.
What I found when I looked there was not a better framework or a missing tactic. It was a set of deeply ingrained patterns, ways I had been operating and building and deciding that made complete sense given what I had been taught business was supposed to look like, and made very little sense given how I was actually designed to function. I had been implementing excellent strategy through a lens that was working against me the entire time. Not because the strategy was wrong.
Because no one had ever accounted for the person using it.
The Business Code Map grew directly out of that process. It became the tool I returned to as I rebuilt, something concrete to look at when old conditioning about how business should work started pulling me back toward patterns that didn't fit.
It existed as my own working document before it existed as a product.
I built it because I needed it. And because when my seven-figure mentor couldn't find the problem in the strategy, I realized the answer was never going to come from looking harder at the strategy.
If you've been doing serious work and still can't find what's keeping your business stuck, that's exactly where this starts.
